Pope Francis made an apostolic journey to the earthquake hit area of Archdiocese of Camerino San Severino Marche on 26 October 2016, where thousands of displaced people had suffered, and a great deal of damage was done. The vestments made for that journey were made in the heart of Southern Italy, at the Desta headquarters.

L'evento si terrà sabato 22 giugno dalle 21 a mezzanotte e mezza. In ogni chiesa giovani volontari faranno da guida alle visite e ovunque vi saranno incontri con la musica e con l'arte.

Papa Giovanni Paolo II lo elesse vescovo il 5 novembre 1992 e gli affidò la sede titolare di Zama minore.
